Laser Cutting
Laser cutting provides the best tolerances and the most precise cuts. The heat affected zones are much smaller compared to flame cutting or plasma cutting.
This technique provides high speed laser cutting and leaves a high-quality surface finish on the material.
The process works by directing a high powered laser onto the material, with the use of computer controlled software to guide the precision cutting.
Metal Profiling and Stainless Steel Laser Cutting
Laser cutting is one of the most popular profiling technologies as it has the ability to accurately cut, melt, burn, or vaporise a range of materials such as stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, etc.
Benefits of using Laser Cutting Techniques:
- This method provides effectiveness as it produces a precise cut due to its accuracy
- The heat generated by the laser is limited to a small heat-affected zone
- Due to its accuracy it can produce small holes and precision detail on material
- Gas is used to clear the cut zone of the access material being cut
