Carbon C1026 in tube
SPECIFICATIONS: GRADE CARBON C1026, UNS G10260
Castle Metals distributes a wide range of carbon C1026 tubing as cold drawn, hot finished or DOM from our distribution centers in the U.S., Canada, Mexico, Shanghai, Singapore, France, and the U.K. When customers confer with us on C1026 tubing, sometimes they share their challenges improving their inventory accuracy. Depending on what we hear, Castle Metals might suggest we look at custom bar codes. This is but one solution we could use to simplify the receiving process, but we don't really know for sure until we go a layer deeper to understand your situation.
Carbon C1026 is a general purpose grade for tubular products. CDSM allows selection of rough tube size that best suits an application or finished part by minimizing clean-up and machining time. Cold drawing produces higher physical properties without heat treating. HFS is available in larger diameters and heavier walls than cold drawn seamless. Hot finished is subject to surface imperfections and wider tolerances over CDS. DOM is cold drawn through a die and over a mandrel resulting in improved surface finish, excellent concentricity and dimensional accuracy.
